How should a prestigious (and serious) academic institution known colloquially as the "Writing College" approach the silliest day of the year?

 

Naturally with clever linguistic play and striking visuals. A historical pet-peeve of Amherst insiders and residents is unwitting mispronunciation of the name. Unknowing of the silent 'h,' individuals will sometimes pronounce the name as "Am-hearst." So why not do away with the 'h' all together?

 

Using Photoshop, I developed this April Fools' campaign.​
